Pier67 is a Ligurian distilled gin with Mediterranean flavors and hints of chinotto
Pier67 Gin
Pier67 is a gin that is distilled only 12 times a year, strictly during the full moon. This peculiarity guarantees stability to the final distillate. The botanicals used give a Mediterranean aroma and a sharp line of spicy notes and peppery nuances, as well as delicate and enveloping hints of chinotto.
Our secrets
Expected experience
In the transparency of the distillate, delicate green reflections suggest clues of a presence that the other senses will reveal.
Already from the perfume, the juniper, essential but discreet host, generously opens the doors to pungent hints of black pepper and cloves and to the citrus notes of the guest of honour: the chinotto of Savona.
The palate is initially struck by the spicy notes of the botanicals, to then be pervaded by the balsamic character of the laurel and rosemary, which give further freshness to the slightly bitter but not sour Savona citrus.
Fragrances and flavors are rounded off by the post-distillation addition of an infusion obtained from the zest of the chinotto, perfect for balancing the bitter tones of the quinine in the tonic.
Chinotto
We value the products of our territory, in particular the Chinotto, slow-food presidium of Savona.
The chinottos used are the "citrus myrtifolia" and the "citrus aurantium", typical for the crossing of sweet and bitter tastes.
Vinolok glass closure
The Philos cap offers an unparalleled combination of beauty and technical functionality, while being completely infinitely recyclable.
It is made of pure Bohemian glass, the result of a tradition handed down over the centuries from the nearby sand quarries.
The glass has no impact on the aroma and flavours of the Gin, keeping its essence alive over time.
Vieux Moulin Distillery
After careful research, in 2021
we found the ideal distillery to produce our gin:
''Vieux Moulin'' in Motta di Costigliole
d'Asti by Elena Borra, third generation of distillers ''all born inside a
still with the scent of grappa in the nostrils''.

For the label we have chosen a work by Oscar Gressani.
It is an ''inner landscape''.
Abstract painting with intense and vigorous brushstrokes, evocative of our territory closed between the mountains and the sea.
This condition tempers us and makes us ''special'', like the strong and passionate colors of the work.
